Dr. Eduardo F. Caires is a Full Professor in the Soil Fertility area at the Ponta Grossa State University. He won the Paraná Science and Technology Award, in the area of Agricultural Sciences in 2008. He has experience in the area of Agriculture, with an emphasis on Soil Fertility and Fertilization. His main research interests are the soil acidity, liming, use of gypsum, improvement of the root environment in the soil profile, and fertilization under no-till systems.
