Hou Gefei holds a PhD from the School of Social Science and Public Policy at King’s College London. His research focuses on environmental protection and social equity responsibilities, governance, and sustainable development, as well as social transformation and political order. Dr. Hou has published dozens of papers in leading domestic and international academic journals, including Sociological Studies, with 13 papers published in SSCI-indexed journals. He is a member of the International Research Society for Public Management (IRSPM) and the Chinese Public Administration Society.
