Dr. Yaxin Li is a Postdoctoral Associate in Pathology and
Laboratory Medicine, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, at Weill Cornell
Medical College. He received a B.S. and an M.S. from Tianjin University (China)
in 2014 and 2017, and a Ph.D. from Cleveland State University in 2022.
His research interests include pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug
toxicity, and clinical studies.
Dr. Sabrina Racine-Brzostek is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and
Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, and director of Coagulation at NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. She received her B.S. from Boston College in 2000 and her M.D. and PhD from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York in 2013. She did
an anatomic and clinical pathology residency program at Montefiore Medical
Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.
She completed her Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at New York
Blood Center and Weill Cornell Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Zhen Zhao is a Professor of Clinical Pathology and
Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University. She
received her B.S. from Xiamen University (China) in 2001 and her Ph.D. from
Northwestern University in 2010. Subsequently, she served as a postdoctoral
fellow in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University
School of Medicine while simultaneously serving as a Clinical Chemistry Fellow
and later as Chief Clinical Chemistry Fellow at that institution. Dr. Zhao was
certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry in 2012.
Dr. Zhao was appointed as a Staff Scientist at the National Institutes of
Health (NIH) from 2012 to 2017. While there, she served as a Clinical Chemist
for the Clinical Center, Department of Laboratory Medicine, and is Associate
Director of the Training Program in Clinical Chemistry at the NIH. She is now
at WCM serving as Director of Central Laboratory. Her research

is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Medical Director of Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology Laboratory, and Co-Director of the ComACC accredited Clinical Chemistry Fellowship Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. She is board certified in both Clinical Chemistry (2015) and Toxicological Chemistry (2017) by ABCC. She currently serves as the Chair of Artificial Intelligence Working Group in the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC), and is a member in the ADLM Academy Council, Education Core Committee, and Data Analytics Steering Committee. She also serves as an Associate Editor of Clinical Chemistry Journal, and in the Editorial Board of Critical Reviews in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Annals of Laboratory Medicine. Her clinical and research interests are artificial intelligence, machine learning, clinical mass spectrometry, and toxicology/therapeutic drug monitoring.
