Gianluca Pollastri has been a College Lecturer (Senior Lecturer since 2008 and Associate Professor since 2016) in the School of Computer Science and Informatics at University College Dublin since 2003. Prior to this, he worked in Pierre Baldi’s group at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of California, Irvine, USA. His research interests are bioinformatics, protein structure prediction, machine learning, and neural networks.
