Dr. Altyeb Ali Abaker Omer obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sinnar in 2014, his Master’s Degree in Thermal Energy Engineering from Kunming University of Science and Technology in 2019, and his PhD degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2023. From 2014 to 2015, he worked as a Maintenance Engineer at the Engineering Workshop for Car Maintenance and Rehabilitation, Ministry of Defense. Since 2023, he has been serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests cover a range of areas, including the development of agrivoltaic technologies, materials, fabrication, and application development. He is also interested in greenhouse management, focusing on optimizing crop production and minimizing energy consumption. In addition, he is experienced in fabricating and characterizing silicon thin films and nanotextures, which have wide-ranging applications in sustainable energy.
