Ruiming Wang is currently a Professor of Psychology at the School of Psychology of South China Normal University. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Qufu Normal University in 2001, and a Doctorate in Psychology from South China Normal University in 2006. He worked as Instructor of Psychology at South China Normal University (2006.7–2007.10) and Associate Professor of Psychology at South China Normal University (2007.11–2011.10). He also served as a Committee Member of the Chinese Association for Psycholinguistics, the Language Psychology Branch of the Chinese Psychological
Society, and the Educational Psychology Branch of the Chinese Psychological Society. In addition, he awards in the Fifth National Excellence Award for Scientific Research on Education, Third Prize, First Author in “The Activation of Non-Attended Language in Language Comprehension of Chinese-English
Bilinguals”, Excellent Teaching of China, Second Prize, Fourth Author in “Constructing an Experimental Teaching System with Two Series and Three Levels to Improve Psychological Student’s Abilities of Research and Application” and so on. His research interests include: language learning; psycholinguistics; language comprehension; bilingualism; embodied cognition.
