Dr. Rowida Meligy received her Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Helwan University in 2021. Since then, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics, Faculty of Engineering, Helwan University. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Intelligent Manufacturing & Robotics (IRC-IMR), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Her research interests include machine learning, advanced control systems, robotics, and solar energy technologies.

Dr. Anton R. Ahmad received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in 2022. Since 2018, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Mechanical Engineering Department, Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor, Faculty of Engineering and Science. He is currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Intelligent Manufacturing & Robotics (IRC-IMR), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. His research interests include mechanical design, multiple-axis force sensors, and smart industrial devices.

Dr. Samir Mekid is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and the founding Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics. He is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK. Dr. Mekid earned his MSc and PhD from Compiegne University, France. Before joining KFUPM, he served as an Assistant Professor at UMIST and the University of Manchester, UK. He has also worked in the Design Department at Caterpillar and has evaluated numerous European Framework Projects and funding programs, including EPSRC in Europe and KACST in Saudi Arabia. Recognized among the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% of Scientists globally, his research interests encompass Machine Design, Measurements and Instrumentation, Control, Smart Materials, and Intelligent Manufacturing. Dr. Mekid has published over 150 papers in professional journals and international conferences, edited two books, and holds more than 30 issued patents.
