Prof. Hironori Washizaki received his doctoral degree from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Waseda University, in 2003. He is now a professor and the Associate Dean of the Research Promotion Division at Waseda University in Tokyo and a visiting professor at the National Institute of Informatics. He also works in industry as the Outside Director of SYSTEM INFORMATION and eXmotion. Since 2017, he has been the lead on a large-scale grant at MEXT called enPiT-Pro SmartSE, which encompasses IoT, AI, software engineering, and business.

Prof. Keiji Yanai completed his master's degree at the Department of Information Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, and he received his Ph.D. (Engineering). The same year, he became a research assistant at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Electro-Communications. In 2003, he became a visiting researcher at the Department of Computer Science, University of Arizona, USA. In 2006, he became an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Electro-Communications. In 2010, he became an Associate Professor at the Department of Integrated Informatics, Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, University of Electro-Communications. In 2015, he became a Professor at the Department of Informatics, Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, University of Electro-Communications. He is currently engaged in research on image and video recognition and mobile applications using deep learning.
