Han Xu is a PhD student at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), sponsored by a QUT scholarship and the Food Agility CRC. He received a Master of Information Technology (Computer Science) from QUT in 2021. He also works as a research assistant at the QUT Spatial Informatics Lab. Drawing upon his 9 years of experience in project management and software engineering, he excels in managing complex IT projects and understanding software systems. His current research lies in combining deep/machine learning and attention mechanisms with multimedia analytics to solve challenges in sectors of sustainable pasture and post-disaster analysis.
