Prof. Dr Noor Muhammad Khan is Professor, Head of Hydraulics and Irrigation Engineering Division, and Chairman of Civil Engineering Department at Pakistan's pioneer engineering university known as UET Lahore. Prof. Dr. Khan also headed the Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Engineering as Director for four years and was able to make the Center a prominent seat of learning and research. Dr. Khan is registered with Pakistan Engineering Council, and with the Pakistan Engineering Congress. He has published widely in local and international journals and proceedings, and book chapters, and has more than 60 publications in his credit. His publications address the important topics, including water system optimization, reservoir sedimentation, flood modeling, and quantification of climate change impacts on regional hydrology, and many more.
