Yanli Guo earned, from the China University of Petroleum (East China), a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (2011) and a PhD in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (2018). He is now the Dean’s Assistant and Lecturer of Ulsan Ship and Ocean College, Ludong University. His work in marine/petroleum engineering, has resulted in many projects such as the national and provincial natural science foundation of China; more than 20 papers; 4 invention patents; 1 science and technology award from Qingdao of China; main courses include Fluid Mechanics, Introduction to Ocean Engineering, CFD, etc. His research interests include flow assurance for deepwater oil & gas and design analysis for marine equipment.
Baojiang Sun, a distinguished academic, holds the titles of Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He is also recognized as the Chief Scientist of the 973 Program and a Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education‘s Key Laboratory of Petroleum Engineering and leads an innovation team under the Ministry’s development plan. Additionally, Sun is a member of the Marine Science and Engineering Majors Teaching Guidance Committee. His research focuses on fluid mechanics for oil and gas wells and offshore petroleum engineering, which has earned him prestigious awards including a Second Prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award, a Second Prize in the National Technology Invention Award, and seven First Prizes from Shandong Province for Scientific and Technological Progress.
