Dr. Ruijie Shi graduated from the College
of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering at Gansu Agricultural University in
June 2017, majoring in agricultural mechanization and automation, where he
received a bachelor of engineering degree. He completed his master’s degree in
agricultural mechanization engineering from the same college in June 2020, and
in June 2023, he earned his doctorate in engineering in the same field. Since
August 2023, Dr. Ruijie Shi has been involved in teaching and research activities
at the College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Gansu Agricultural
University. He has primarily participated in various research projects
including the National Special Oil Crop Industry Technology System—Sesame
Mechanization, National Key R&D Programs, Central Guidance of Local Science
and Technology Development Projects, National Natural Science Foundation
Projects, Gansu Province Outstanding Youth Fund Project, Gansu Province Major
Science and Technology Projects, Gansu Province Key R&D Program, and Gansu
Province Agricultural Machinery Equipment Improvement. His main research
directions are (1) mechanized harvesting technologies and equipment for
characteristic crops in the north, and (2) the mechanism of the
film-soil-machine-crop interaction system in the northwest arid regions.
