Author Biographies

Prof. Baolong Wu obtained his bachelor’s degree and PhD degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2012 and 2018, respectively. He was a visiting scholar with the Applied Microwave Nondestructive Testing Laboratory, Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA, from 2016 to 2018. From 2019 to 2020, he worked as an assistant professor at Hunan University. Since 2020, he has been working as an associate professor at the School of Electronics and Information, Northwestern Polytechnical University. He has long served as a reviewer for international journals such as IEEE TIM, IEEE TGRS, IEEE GRSL, and IEEE AWPL, and has conducted long-term collaborative research with well-known scholars in related fields in the United States, Spain, and other countries. His research interests include radar imaging, radar image processing, and information extraction.

Prof. Jianlai Chen is a distinguished associate professor, doctoral supervisor, and master’s supervisor at Central South University. He received his PhD in Engineering from the State Key Laboratory of Radar Signal Processing, Xidian University in June 2018. He won the nomination award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of the China Electronic Education Society, the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Shaanxi Province, and the Radar Future Star. His main research directions include synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging, radar image recognition and interpretation, etc.
