Dr. Galya Georgieva-Tsaneva received a master's degree in
engineering majoring in electrical engineering, electronics and
automation from the Technical University in Varna, Bulgaria in 1989. She
obtained a PhD in Components and Devices for Automation and Computing
fromInstitute of Systems Engineering and Robotics (ISER) at
the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) in 2016. Currently, she is an
associate professor at the Institute of Robotics of the Bulgarian
Academy of Sciences in Sofia, Bulgaria, head of the Medical Robotics
section. Her's research topics mainly include medical information
systems, ECG heart rate variability study data, wavelet and fractal
analysis, serious educational games, improving the quality of education,
computer networks and communications, coding and compression of
information, fractal modeling and teletraffic engineering. Associate
Professor Georgieva-Tsaneva is the author/co-author of over 130 national
and international articles, 7 chapters of monographs and one textbook.
She is a member of the editorial boards and reviewer of several
international scientific journals.
Ivanichka Serbezova, Professor, Ph.D., head of the Department of Education Quality and Accreditation in Ruse University “Angel Kanchev”. Master`s Degree in Andragogy from SofiaUniversity “St. Kliment Ohridsky” and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Management. InMedical University of Sofia, she acquires her major in Medical Pedagogy. Her research interests include medical education systems, optimising Healthcare Education, improving the quality of medical education. She is the author of 2 scientific books and has published over 55 scientific articles nationally and internationally. She is a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Association of Healthcare Professionals and the European Public Health Association.
