Dr. Sergio Molina earned, from the University of Granada (SPAIN), a BS in Physics (1994) and a PhD in Physics (Seismology and Seismic Engineering) (1998). He is now the head of the Earthquake Engineering and Seismic Risk research group and associate professor at the Physics Applied department (Faculty of Science – University of Alicante, SPAIN). His research interests include seismology, seismic hazard, operational earthquake forecasting, vulnerability and seismic risk.
