Salman Khalid received his BS and MS
degrees in Mechanical Engineering from NUST, Pakistan, in 2012 and 2016,
respectively. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Dongguk
University in 2021. He is currently working as a Research Assistant Professor
in the Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and Energy Engineering at Dongguk
University, Korea. His primary research interests include artificial
intelligence, structural health monitoring, prognostics and health management,
smart composite laminates, and computational mechanics.
Izaz Raouf is currently working as a
postdoctoral researcher at Dongguk University. He received his Ph.D. in Feb
2023 from the mechanical engineering department at Dongguk University Seoul,
Korea. Since March 2018, he has been a Master's leading Ph.D. student in the
Mechanical, Robotics, and Energy Engineering Department at Dongguk University.
Besides, he received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from UET
Peshawar in 2017. His research interests include Prognostic health management
(PHM), Fault detection, Smart factory, and industry digitalization, the
application of AI for PHM, Data based fault detection, the application of deep
learning and machine learning in the domain of smart factory and biomedical
applications, Finite Element Modeling, Biomedical engineering, cancer therapy
Hyperthermia, and Heat Transfer.
Heung Soo Kim received his BS and MS
degrees from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Inha University, Korea,
in 1997 and 1999, respectively. He obtained his PhD degree from the Department
of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Arizona State University in 2003. He
is now working as a professor in the Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and
Energy Engineering at Dongguk University, Korea. His main research interests
are smart materials and structures as applied to aerospace structures and
vehicles.
