Author Biographies

Dr. Salim Yılmaz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Management at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University. Born in 1991, Dr. Yılmaz specializes in biostatistics, statistics, probability, and quantitative methods. His expertise and academic contributions focus on applying advanced statistical techniques within health management and related fields, supporting evidence-based practices and enhancing decision-making processes in healthcare.
Canser Boz is an associate professor in the Department of Health Economics at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Faculty of Health Sciences. His research interests include health expenditures, health economics, quantitative methods, and machine learning. He is an academic with experience in teaching university students, particularly in econometric models and statistical tools, and utilizing these skills in publications.
Furkan Alp Eren is a specialist doctor at the Family Medicine Department of Esenyurt District Health Directorate, Istanbul/Turkey. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and a master's in Health Economics. His master's thesis focused on the individual cost of obesity, and he also has completed a specialty thesis on examining the relationship between sarcopenia and obesity. Furkan Alp Eren is also a researcher for the REDEFINE-1 clinical trial. He has attended numerous national and international meetings, training programs, projects, and congresses on vaccinology, obesity, non-communicable diseases, and primary healthcare. He is a member of the Turkish Association of Family Physicians (TAHUD), Istanbul Medical Chamber and Tabip-Sen Union.
Dr. Ahmet Murat Günal is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Haliç University within the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from İstanbul Arel University in 2014. He continued his educational pursuits at İstanbul Okan University, where he earned his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics. His research interests encompass a wide range of topics within the field of nutrition and dietetics, with a particular emphasis on chrononutrition, public health nutrition, food insecurity, and eating behaviors. He is also an active member of the Turkish Dietetic Association.
