Michio Wachi holds a B.S. from Bukkyo University, an M.S. from Ritsumeikan University, and a Ph.D. from Kyoto Institute of Technology. He is now a Lecturer at the Department of Physical Therapy, School of Health Sciences, Bukkyo University, and a part-time Lecturer at Kyoto Prefectural Kumiyama High School. Before his current role, he worked at Biwako Rehabilitation University and Nagoya University. He is also a member of the Japanese Physical Therapy Association. His research interests include general surgery, pediatric surgery, sports science, orthopedics, and rehabilitation science.
