Author Biographies

Dr. Piotr Homola is a doctor of astrophysics and the Associate Professor at the Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences. He worked as a visiting scientist at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2023. He is the initiator and current leader of the Cosmic Ray Extremely Distributed Observatory (CREDO) Collaboration, which aims at exploration of the as-yet un-probed broadcasting channel of the universe. His research field focus on experimental high-energy astroparticle physics, cosmic rays, cosmic ray ensembles, cosmic ray simulations, extensive air showers, the preshower effect, citizen science, discoverology, the foundations of science, and philosophy of science.
