Sandro Gentile graduated in medicine and surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Naples, “Federico II”, in 1973. He is a well-known specialist in diabetology. He has been a professor at important institutions such as the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, the University of Naples Federico II, and the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He has worked as president of Nefrocenter Research in Naples since June 2018 and has been the coordinator of the inter-company study group AMD-OSDI on injective technique since 2014. He is a member of the advisory board of “Diabetes Therapy Journal”. His research interests include diabetes; obesity; injection techniques; and diabetes complications.
Giuseppe Argenziano is a full professor and head of the Dermatology Unit at the University of Campania, Naples, Italy, co-founder and past president of the International Dermoscopy Society, and president of the Italian Society of Dermatology. His main research field is dermato-oncology, and he is the author of numerous scientific articles and books concerning dermoscopy, melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancer. As coordinator of the Melanoma Unit at Campania University, he has established a successful tertiary, multidisciplinary referral center particularly devoted to the diagnosis and management of patients with skin cancer.
