The nutritionist graduated (RD) from IMEC (1997), holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the School of Medicine at PUCRS (2010), a Master’s degree in Biomedical Gerontology from the Institute of Geriatrics and Gerontology at PUCRS (2005), and a Specialization in Clinical Nutrition from IMEC (1998). She has been an Associate Professor IV in the Department of Nutrition at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA) since 2006. She is also a Permanent Professor in the Graduate Program in Nutrition Sciences at UFCSPA (master's advisor) and has served as the Program Coordinator since 2022. Leader of the Research Group on Nutrition, Metabolism, and Eating Behavior (CNPq), she conducts research in the fields of obesity, diabetes, and eating behavior. She is a reviewer for national and international scientific journals; a faculty tutor for the Multiprofessional Integrated Health Residency Program (REMIS) UFCSPA/ISCMPA; and a member of the Brazilian Association for the Study of Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome (ABESO).
