Prof. Zhenhua Di currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of Beijing Normal University. He received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics at the Anyang Normal University in
2006 and his Ph.D. in computational mathematics at the Beijing Jiaotong University in 2011. From September 2007 to June 2011, he was a joint Ph.D. candidate in Hydrometeorology at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests are in hydroecology and meteorology.
Dr. Shenglei Zhang is an assistant researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science, Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his bachelor’s degree from Hunan Normal University in 2000, his master’s degree from Central South University in 2003, and his Ph.D. from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2007. From 2008 to 2012, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science, Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His research topics mainly include land data assimilation and its application and microwave radiative transfer model development and its application.
