Dr Vyacheslav Klyukhin earned a Master's Degree in Physics (1974) from the Lomonosov Moscow State University and a PhD in Experimental Physics (1987) from the Institute for High Energy Physics (Protvino, Moscow region, Russia). He is now the Senior Scientific Researcher in the Experimental High Energy Physics Department of the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics at Lomonosov Moscow State University. His work in Experimental High Energy Physics has resulted in 1300 publications, 35 presentations, and an award in Nuclear Energy and Industry. His research interests include electromagnetic modeling; magnetic flux density; superconducting magnets; NMR probes; Hall probes; flux loops; magnetic field measurements; eddy current analysis; and the CMS detector.
Andrea Gaddi holds a MSc. diploma in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy, 1991). He has worked at the Italian National Laboratory in Frascati (INFN/LNF) on the KLOE experiment for CP violation studies, at the INFN/Pisa laboratory on the VIRGO gravitational waves interferometer and, from 2000, has been a staff member at CERN, working on the CMS experiment on the LHC. He specializes in HEP detector engineering, detector infrastructures, and machine--detector integration.
