Prof. Dr. Bichun Li is currently
the leader of the National Key Discipline (Cultivation) of Animal Genetics,
Breeding and Reproduction at Yangzhou University, a key discipline in Jiangsu
Province, a first-level discipline of Animal Husbandry, and a second-level
discipline of Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Reproduction. She is also the
leader of the Key Laboratory of Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Molecular Design
in Jiangsu Province, the chief professor of the National Resource Sharing
Course, and the chief professor of the National and Jiangsu Province Excellent
Course of Animal Genetics. In addition, she serves as the vice president of the
Women's Federation of Yangzhou University, a member of the Jiangsu Society of
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, a member of the Yangzhou Society of
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and a part-time professor at Fujian
Agriculture and Forestry University. She
has won the first prize for excellent classroom teaching at Yangzhou
University, the second prize for excellent courses at Jiangsu Provincial
Education Commission, and two awards for Chinese Agricultural Science and
Technology; One Science and Technology Progress Award from the Ministry of
Education. She
has led and completed multiple national projects. In recent years, she has
published over 100 papers in international academic journals and domestic core
academic journals and has been granted 7 authorized invention patents.
