Dr. Jiliang Mu is a professor in the School of Instrument and Electronics of the North University of China. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design from the North China Institute of Technology in 2003, his master’s degree in Test and Measurement Technology and Instruments from the North China University of Technology in 2009, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Design and Theory from the North China University of Technology in 2016. He has undertaken 15 projects, including general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, basic research projects of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, key projects of the Innovation Zone of the Military Science and Technology Commission, pre-research projects of the Equipment Development Department, pre-research field funds of the Equipment Development Department of the Military Commission, Shanxi Natural Science Foundation, and enterprise horizontal technology development. He has been awarded one first prize for technological invention in Shanxi Province. He is currently the leader of the key talent team for scientific and technological innovation in Shanxi Province and a director of the Micro-Nano Robotics Branch of the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology. His research directions are micro-mechanical system design and integration, intelligent monitoring micro-systems, and micro-energy harvesting technology.
