Author Biographies

Yang Du is a PhD student at the School of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Harbin University of Science and Technology. His main research focuses on the reaction mechanism and formation and evolution of by-products in high-voltage insulation processes, as well as related studies of the electronic transport characteristics of insulation materials.
Hui Zhang received a doctorate in Physical Chemistry from the State Key Laboratory of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry of Jilin University. She is currently a professor of Physical Chemistry at the School of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Key Laboratory of Engineering Dielectrics and Its Application, Harbin University of Science and Technology. Her research focused on the basic theory of quantum chemistry and application, such as the mechanism of radical reaction and the catalytic reaction mechanism of enzymes. She investigated the reaction mechanisms and by-products forming and evolution process in high voltage insulation at the atomic and molecular levels.
Wei Han is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Automation at Harbin University of Science and Technology. He is currently working at Fujian Normal University. His research interests include prediction and health monitoring, and the application of artificial intelligence in the field of new materials.
Xia Du received her Material Physics and Chemistry degree from Harbin University of Science and Technology. She is currently a lecturer in the School of Material Science and Chemical Engineering, Harbin University of Science and Technology. Her major research interests include organic fluorization reaction mechanisms and electronic transport characteristics of insulating materials.
Yan Shang graduated from the Harbin Institute of Technology with a PhD in Engineering. She is currently a professor at the School of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Harbin University of Science and Technology. Her main research interests include organic functional materials, organic synthesis and environmental engineering.
Hongda Yang graduated from the Harbin University of Science and Technology with a Doctor of Engineering degree, works in the Electric Power Research Institute of the State Grid Heilongjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd., and is mainly engaged in the diagnosis of the insulation state of primary power equipment, live detection, special tests, as well as the research, development and application of new insulating materials.
Prof. Xuan Wang received his PhD degree in High Voltage and Insulation Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1999. He is a committee member of the Dielectric Professional Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, China Physical Science and Technology and New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education. He has long been engaged in advanced dielectric material theory and applied research work. He chaired two National Natural Science Funds, won a second prize in National Technological Invention, and a first prize in Science and Technology in Heilongjiang Province. In recent years, he has been mainly working on high-grade polyethylene insulation, terahertz wave and dielectric interactions, and polymer-based high-energy storage materials. He authored more than 50 papers, of which more than 40 were included in SCl and El.
Qingguo Chen received his PhD in High Voltage and Electrical Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He is currently a professor with the High Voltage Division, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and the MOE Key Laboratory of Engineering Dielectrics and Its Application, Harbin University of Science and Technology. His major research interests include high voltage insulation, insulation detection and diagnosis technology for power equipment, the online monitoring and diagnostic technology of electrical insulation, and the new technology of high voltage applications.
Zesheng Li graduated from Jilin University with a PhD in Science. He is currently a professor of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the Beijing Institute of Technology. His main research interests include photoelectric conversion theory, theoretical design of solar cell materials, and theoretical design of photocatalytic materials for water splitting.
