Erik A. Ehli received his BS in Biology from Northern State University, and MS in Basic Biological Sciences from University of South Dakota. He currently works as a Research Scientist at Avera Genetics. He is leading genotyping projects on samples collected from children and adolescents through the Netherlands Twin Register. His works mainly focus on the molecular characterization of metastatic breast cancer as well as understanding the tumor genetics of gynecological cancer, specifically uterine sarcoma. He has experienced in extensive training in a diverse range of molecular genetics techniques, including high density SNP genotyping, methylation, next generation sequencing, and pharmacogenetic profiling. His research interest includes the molecular genetics of complex diseases.
Lee A. Baugh is an Associate Professor at the Sanford School of Medicine, University of South Dakota. He received his BA in Psychology from University of Waterloo, MA and PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from University of Manitoba, and completed a Postdoctoral degree in Neuroscience at the Centre For Neuroscience Studies, Queen's University. He also is the Director at Human Functional Imaging Core at University of South Dakota, and Research Scientist at the Veterans Administration, Sioux Falls, SD, USA. The main research at his laboratory is examining the cognitive and neuropsychological foundations of skilled movement, and deficits in such movement that can arise both from healthy aging and neurological damage.
