Stefan Brachmański graduated from the Electronics Department of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 1975. He received his PhD in 1981. He is the author or co-author of about 200 publications, including 42 articles in scientific journals, 3 books, 25 book chapters, and 104 conference papers. His most important scientific achievement is the book "Chosen Problems of Speech Transmission Quality Assessment", published in 2015. He is a member of the Polish Acoustical Society (PAS), Audio Engineering Society (AES), and the European Acoustic Association (EAA). As part of his teaching, he conducts classes related to speech acoustics, multimedia, crime acoustics, and the analysis and processing of acoustic signals. His interests include audio and video quality assessment, audio and video coding, crime acoustic, and digital signal processing.
Piotr Z. Kozłowski graduated (M.Sc. Eng) in acoustics from the Faculty of Electronics at Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2000. In 2005, he obtained the title of Ph.D. on the basis of his doctoral thesis entitled "Objective Methods of Audio Signals Evaluation". He is the author and co-author of 64 scientific publications. He is a member of the Polish Acoustical Society (PAS), Audio Engineering Society (AES), and the European Acoustic Association (EAA). As part of his teaching work, he teaches the following classes: Loudspeaker Cabinets, Electroacoustic Systems, Sound Reinforcement Systems, Team Designing, Modelling in Acoustics. His interests include electroacoustic systems, immersive sound, room acoustics, acoustic adjusting, acoustic enhancement systems, and theatre technology.
