Michel Planat received a State Doctoral Thesis in 1984. He was a researcher at the National Center of Scientific Research in France from 1982 to 2018. Since 2019, he has been retired, being a visitor in his earlier institution Femto-ST located in Besançon France. However, in 2024, he became the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Topology (ISSN: 2813-9542). His research topics mainly include the following: topological quantum computing; epigenetics and epitranscriptomics; signal processing; geometry; quantum mechanics; discrete mathematics; graph theory; group theory; communication; pure mathematics; topology; and artificial intelligence.
