Prof. Yingwu Yang is a professor at Bioengineering College, Chongqing University. He graduated from Chongqing University with a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering in 2010 and received joint doctoral training at the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France, from 2007 to 2009. He serves as a reviewer for several international SCI journals, including New Phytol, J Exp Bot, and BMC Plant Biol. In addition, he also serves as a director of the Chongqing Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, a director of the Youth Branch of the Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, a member of the Food Society, and an expert reviewer for national and provincial projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau. His research directions include the formation mechanism of natural active substances and their effects on human health, green biomanufacturing of functional active substances, and the development of health products based on active substances.
