Zeliha Cagla KUYUMCU was born in 1991 in Sakarya, Turkey. She graduated from Department of Civil Engineering at Sakarya University in 2013. Following received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from transportation engineering at Istanbul Technical University (2017), Turkey and Sakarya University (2024), Turkey respectively. From 2015 to 2016, she was a Research Assistant in transportation engineering at Yalova University, Turkey. She has been a research assistant at Sakarya University since 2016. Her research interests include traffic safety and traffic management.

Hakan ASLAN graduated from the Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Engineering, Turkey. He completed his MSc and PhD at Newcastle University, UK, in the field of Transportation. He has been working for Sakarya University at the department of Civil Engineering since 2008. His fields of expertise cover the “Reliability Analysis of Transportation Networks”, “Road Safety Analysis”, and “Public Transportation Systems”. He has been teaching transportation-related courses and continuing his academic research in the area of transportation engineering.

Nilüfer YURTAY was born in 1969 in Eskişehir, Turkey. She graduated from the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Science at Anadolu University in 1992. She received her Master of Science degree in 1999 from the Industrial Engineering Department at Sakarya University. In 2004, she obtained her PhD in Industrial Engineering from the same university. Her research interests primarily include data mining, optimization, and medical decision support systems. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering.
