Prof. Chunchi Ma is a Professor
and Ph.D. supervisor at the College of Environment and Civil Engineering,
Chengdu University of Technology. He
studied for a Ph.D. degree at Chengdu University of Technology since 2013.
After obtaining the Ph.D. degree, he entered Southwest Jiaotong University for
postdoctoral research from 2020 to 2022. In terms of academic part-time
work, he has been appointed as a member of the Geotechnical Engineering
Information Branch, Underground Engineering Branch, Rock Design Method Branch
of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, a member of the
China Occupational Safety, etc. He has long focused on innovative research on
the mechanism and intelligent monitoring and early warning of underground
disasters and won two national level scientific and technological progress
awards as the first author. He has won five awards, including first prize for
scientific and technological progress in Sichuan Province, first prize for
scientific and technological progress of the China Transportation Association, and
a special prize for scientific and technological progress of Sichuan Highway
Society, as the main contributor. His research interests include geological
resources and geological engineering, microseismic monitoring, rockburst
mechanisms, underground disaster monitoring and early warning, underground
engineering, and tunnel engineering.
