Author Biographies

Lingkai Kong obtained a Master's degree from the University of Zurich. He is a Doctoral Researcher at Izmir University of Economics in Turkey. His interests include federalism, anarchism, and Chinese politics and history. His current projects relate to the Calvinist theologian and federalist scholar Johannes Althusius, the anarchist and federalist Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, the Austro-Marxist Karl Renner, and the contemporary philosopher Hannah Arendt. These projects involve discussions of multi-ethnic coexistence, pluralism, nationalism, and asymmetric and non-territorial federal institutions. He is also interested in the embodiment of federalism in the medieval European tradition and in Chinese history. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Politics and Strategy (JOPS). He has published several books, including the monograph, The Philosophical Reviews of International Politics (ISBN: 978-1-7392712-0-6), a translation of Politics Methodically Set Forth and Illustrated with Sacred and Profane Examples (ISBN: 978-1- 7393257-2-5, English to Chinese), The Principle Of Federation and the Need to Reconstitute the Party of Revolution (ISBN: 978-1-7393257-4-9, English to Chinese), and Leninist Dialectics and the Metaphysics of Positivism (ISBN: 978-3-9825536-0-3, English to Chinese). He has also devoted himself to translating classical Chinese books into English, publishing the Classic of Self-restraint (ISBN: 978-1-7392712-5-1) and Classic of Accusation (978-1-7392712-4-4).
