Dr. Guanglong Sheng currently works as an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Petroleum Engineering, Yangtze University. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering, and a Master's and a Doctor's degree in Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering at the China University of Petroleum. He also completed a Joint Doctor of Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin. His research areas are unconventional oil and gas seepage theory and application, integrated intelligent optimization technology for horizontal well fracturing development, and intelligent development and production optimization technology for oil and gas reservoirs.
