Ljubica Tasic is an associate professor at the University of Campinas. She is a chemist and obtained her PhD in 2002. She earned a Diploma at the University of Belgrade from 1989 to 1994. From 1994 to 1998, she was pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Belgrade. Between 1998 and 2002, she was working on her Doctorate at the University of Campinas. From 2002 to 2004, she was a Post-Doctorate at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory. In 2004, she led a biological chemistry group at the Organic Chemistry Department of the Institute of Chemistry, and the research projects of the biological chemistry group are related to biochemistry, bionanotechnology, and metabolomics.
