Pedro Gil-LaOrden is a junior researcher in the Unidad de Investigación Psicosocial de la Conducta Organizacional (UNIPSICO) (Universitat de València).
He has a BSc in Psychology (2023, Universitat de València), and an MSc in People Management and Organizational Development (2024, University Miguel of Hernández-ESIC Business and Marketing School).
At present, he is a PhD student at the Universitat de València. From 2019, he has been an active researcher in the field of Occupational Health Psychology, with publications that include scientific articles and chapters of books.
His research interests are job stress and its consequences on workers’ health and organizational efficacy, paying special attention to burnout, workplace bullying, and consequences. He is a member of the Spanish Psychological Association.
Mary Sandra Cartlotto is a professor for the postgraduate programs in social, work, and organizational psychology at the University of Brasília/Brazil.
She has a PhD in social psychology (2005) from the University of Santiago de Compostela/Spain and is a Level 1 researcher for the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development/CNPq-Brazil.
Her research interests include burnout syndrome, work addiction, moral harassment, technostress, work-related mental health disorders, work–family interactions, and the construction and adaptation of measures in occupational health psychology.
Pedro R Gil-Monte is a full professor of social and organizational psychology in the Department of Social Psychology, at Universitat de València (Spain).
He is also the Director of the Unidad de Investigación Psicosocial de la Conducta Organizacional (UNIPSICO). He obtained his PhD in 1994, University of La Laguna.
He has been a professor and an active researcher in the field of occupational health psychology from 1991, with over two hundred publications, including scientific articles, chapters, and books.
He is a member of APA, EA-OHP, and the Spanish Scientific Association of Social Psychology (SCEPS).
Some distinctions include the following:
-Fidélitas University (Costa Rica, 2010), recognizing his contributions to Psychology.
-Chilean Society of Work and Organizational Psychology (SCHIPTO, 2016), recognizing his relevant contributions and research in work and organizational psychology.
- Universidade Federal da Paraíba (2019) (João Pessoa, Brasil), recognizing his significant contribution to international scientific production and to the development of an instrument to evaluate burnout syndrome.
His research interest is job stress and its consequences on workers’ health and organizational efficacy, paying special attention to burnout, workplace bullying, and consequences.
He has also developed psychological tests and questionnaires to evaluate job burnout (Spanish Burnout Inventory) and psychosocial factors and risks at work (Questionnaire UNIPSICO).
