Prof. Dr. Jiahua Wei is a professor at the Department of Water Resources and Hydropower
Engineering, the chief scientist in the field of hydrology and water resources
at the State Key Laboratory of Hydroscience and Engineering, Tsinghua
University, and the vice president of Qinghai University. His research areas include
river basin water resources management, regulation, and optimal scheduling; Internet of Water (IoW) and digital water governance; air-ground water resources monitoring, regulation and development, and utilization; and surface water/groundwater coupling simulation and regulation. He has presided over and participated in more than 60 projects and topics including the National Key R&D Program,
the National Science and Technology Support Program, the National Natural
Science Foundation, and major engineering consulting.
