Ramteja Sajja is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Iowa, while also
working as a research assistant at the IIHR—Hydroscience and
Engineering. His research focuses broadly on the areas of Artificial
Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Big Data Science, Data
Mining, Educational Technology, and Web-based Development. He graduated
from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering.
He majored in Computer Science and Engineering in the spring of 2021.
Yusuf Sermet is an Assistant Research Engineer at the IIHR—
Hydroscience & Engineering, University of Iowa, with an extensive
background in intelligent systems, possessing a Ph.D. in Electrical and
Computer Engineering (ECE) and M.S. degrees in both ECE and Computer
Science. His expertise spans AI, AR/VR, IoT, and web technologies.
Ibrahim Demir is the Director of the UI Hydroinformatics
Lab and an Associate Professor at the Civil and Environmental
Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering departments at the
University of Iowa. Dr. Demir’s research focuses on hydroinformatics, AI
and machine learning, environmental information systems, scientific
visualization, big data analytics, intelligent systems, and information
communication. Dr. Demir has over 120 peer-reviewed publications and
currently serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Hydroinformatics
(IWA) and Environmental Modeling and Software (Elsevier).
