Renfeng Xu is a Ph.D. studentĀ at Fujian Normal University and a research assistant at Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory for Developmental Biology and Neurosciences, who has published about twenty academic papers in professional journals both domestically and internationally. She is mainly engaged in research in the fields of developmental biology and biomedical sciences.
Xiang Li is a research associate professor of pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, University of Houston, USA. The primary focus of her research is vascular pathobiology. Specifically, they are studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, restenosis, hypertension, and arterial stiffness associated with obesity, aging, or chronic kidney disease. They use different physiological, biochemical, and molecular approaches, including gene knockout, surgical intervention, and adenoviral gene delivery. Current research topics include epigenetic regulation, lipid biology, redox signaling, vascular inflammation, cell senescence, and progenitor cell differentiation and recruitment.
Zhengchao Wang is a professor at the College of Life Sciences, Fujian Normal University, China. He is a principal investigator and a team leader in the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory for Developmental Biology and Neurosciences, Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Science and Technology for Medicine of the Ministry of Education. He has many years of teaching and research experience. His main research interests are animal physiology and biochemistry.
Yang Zhang is a professor of pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, University of Houston, USA. His major goal of research is to investigate the molecular and immunological mechanisms implicated in the initiation of cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, coronary artery diseases (macro- and micro-vascular dysfunction), and arterial stiffening/calcification.
