Author Biographies

Jun Wu, Ph.D., is a researcher and doctoral supervisor who currently serves as the Vice President of the Southwest Research Institute for Hydraulic and Water Transport Engineering and the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Inland Waterway Regulation Technology in the Transportation Industry. Engaged in long-term research on complete sets of technologies for intelligent navigation channels, intelligent port structures, ship navigation safety, and intelligent perception of water transport information, Jun Wu has successfully presided over one National Natural Science Foundation and one National Key R&D Program project, led five provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, participated in more than twenty national and provincial level scientific research projects, and led the research and development of "Key Technologies for Collision Avoidance of Large Water Level Highway Bridges" and "Key Technologies for Surface Flow Field Measurement of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Complex Inland River Sections", which have been identified as being international advanced and at leading levels. The developed complete sets of technologies have been industrialized, and a series of industrialized equipment has been applied to multiple major projects in China.
