Dr. Shuai Yang is an esteemed lecturer in the Art and Archaeology Department at Hangzhou City University. He graduated from the Faculty of Innovation and Design, City University of Macau with a PhD in Urban Planning and Design. For the past two years, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at Zhejiang University. His research endeavors revolve around the critical areas of urban image, urban heritage protection, and urban culture. Additionally, Shuai Yang's noteworthy contributions are evident through his extensive publications in reputable national and international journals.
Yile Chen is a Ph.D. in Architecture from Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Macau University of Science and Technology who has graduated in 2024. She graduated with a master’s degree in urban planning and design from the Faculty of Innovation and Design, City University of Macau, in 2020. She has published more than 20 papers in SCIE, SSCI, and A&HCI journals in the International Journal of Architectural Heritage, Heritage Science, Open House International, Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering, Island Studies Journal, Buildings, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Geocarto International, Frontiers in Earth Science, Atmosphere, and Sustainability. Her primary research interests are artificial intelligence technology, scientific analysis of healthy human settlements, and spatial information technology application research in cultural heritage protection. She focuses on cutting-edge scientific research on architectural technology in high-density urban form and a healthy environment, as well as the protection and renewal of urban and architectural cultural heritage in Macau and Portuguese-speaking regions. At the same time, she is also a member of the PLOS ONE Editorial Board and serves as a peer reviewer for many SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI/ESCI journals, such as the internationally renowned journals International Review for Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development, Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering, Frontiers of Architectural Research.
