Author Biographies

Dengyue Xu earned, from the China Medical University, a PhD in Medicine (2023). She is now the postdoctor in the School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology. She is now focusing on the integration of clinical diseases and biosensors, with fluorescent proteins as her main research area.
Qingyun Jiang received her Level of Degree in Major from the Northeast Agricultural University in 2018, and she is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology. Her research topics mainly include: fluorescent protein, biosensors and live cell sensor detection.
Professor Zhi Li is vice director at the Department of clinical laboratory,Central Hospital of Dalian University of Technology. He completed his master degree studies,majored in biochemistry and molecular biology at the BeiHua University, and has been awarded the science and technology progress first prize of the Dalian Municipal Government. He recently led the Dalian science and technology plan project. He has published more than 30 papers in various journals, and serves as a member of Laboratory Medicine Branch, China Health Management Association, a member of Liaoning Immunology Association, et al. His teaching disciplines include immunology and molecular biology.
Angyang Shang received her Level of Degree from Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University in 2019 and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Dalian University of Technology, engaged in early detection of disease biomarkers with fluorescent biosensors. Her research interests include the design, testing, and in vivo application of related fluorescent biosensors.
Jiaqi Liu received her Level of Degree from North University of China in 2021 and is now pursuing Level of Degree in Dalian University of Technology Biomedical Engineering. Her research topics mainly include systemic lupus erythematosus, microfluidic chips, autoantibody, fluorescent proteins, and biosensors.
Chengyu Xue received his Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering from the Dalian University of Technology in 2022 and is now pursuing a Master's Degree in the same major with a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. He worked as a student at Dalian University of Technology (2018–2022). In 2022, he was promoted to master student. His research topics mainly include: protein probes and biomarker tests.
Shuai Shao earned, from the University of Jyvaskyla, an MS in biomedical engineering (2017) and a PhD in information technology (2022). She is now the assistance professor of the Dalian university of technology. Her work in fluorescent protein biosensor has resulted in seven publications, and one course. Her research interests include fluorescent protein biosensors and mechanotransduction.
Dr. Hangyu Zhang obtained his M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Sichuan University in China in 2009 and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University in the US. From 2014 to 2017, he conducted his postdoctoral research in Department of Bioengineering at University of Washington in the US. He is now an associate professor in School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology. His current research focuses on biosensors, bioelectronics, supermolecular self-assembly, biomaterials, and 3D bioprinting.
Hong Yuan is the president at the affiliated central hospital of Dalian University of Technology. He completed his MD studies in Pathology and Pathophysiology at the Dalian Medical University, and he recently led the National Natural Science Foundation and Dalian Municipal Major Basic Research Projects. He has published more than 60 papers in various journals and serves as a standing committee member for the laboratory medicine branch of the chinese medical association. His interests include research on early diagnostic reagents and equipment for major diseases and research on the novel molecular markers for tumors.
Researcher Bin Wu is a chief scientist at the China Certification and Inspection Group Liaoning Co., Ltd. She completed her PhD studies in specialization in food science at the Shenyang Agricultural University and has been the recipient of a state department allowance and a China May Day Model Worker medal. She recently led the development and application of rapid detection reagents for biological hazards at port, 36 national standards for bacteria, viruses, toxins, etc. She has published 70 papers in various journals and serves as a herald for inspection and quarantine academics, as well as for food safety, biosecurity, animal diseases, health, and quarantine. Her teaching disciplines include analytical chemistry, aquatic animal immunology, and her interests include food safety, biosecurity, animal diseases, health quarantine, and standardization.
Bo Liu earned, from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (2007). He is now the professor in School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology. His work in developing biosensors based on fluorescent proteins was explored with mechanobiology, molecular biology, image processing, and other methods.
