Author Biographies

Dr. Kylynda Bauer, PhD, is an iCURE-NCI postdoctoral scientist at the National Cancer Institute within the Thoracic GI and Malignancy Branch (TGMB). Dr. Bauer was the recipient of the Vanier Scholarship during doctoral training at the University of British Columbia (Dr. Finlay Laboratory) and the Sallie Rosen Kaplan Fellowship Postdoctoral Fellowship for Women Scientists in Cancer Research and SITC-Genentech Women in Cancer Immunotherapy Fellowship within the laboratory of Dr. Tim Greten, MD. Dr. Greten serves as the NCI CCR Deputy Director and TGMB Deputy Director. Following medical training at the Christian Albrechts University and postdoctoral research at John’s Hopkins University, Dr. Greten launched a transdisciplinary research group exploring cancer immunotherapy.
