David Juher is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics at the University of Girona since 1996. He earned his Degree in Mathematics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 1994 and completed his PhD in Mathematics at the same institution in 2003. Prior to his current role, he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at UAB in 1995. His research interests encompass discrete dynamical systems, combinatorial and topological dynamics, continuous maps on trees and graphs, periodic orbits, topological entropy, chaos, and complex networks. Dr. Juher is the principal investigator of the project "Low Dimensional Dynamical Systems: Topology, Geometry, Combinatorics, and Bifurcations" (PID2023-146424NB-I00) funded by the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades. He is also an active member of the research group "Sistemes Dinàmics: Teoria, modelització matemàtica i aplicacions” (2021 SGR 00113) accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Joan Saldaña has been an associate professor of Applied Mathematics in the Department of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics at the Universitat de Girona since 2003.
