Dr. SREEJA B. P. is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Information Technology, Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore. She received a Bachelor of
Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from AMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Anna University, Chennai, in the year 2007, a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Computational Engineering and Networking from Amrita University, Coimbatore, in the year 2010, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering in the year 2023, from Anna University, Chennai. She has served in the field of education for over 14 years. She has published in twenty plus international journals, seven international conferences, and two national-level conference papers. Her areas of interest are wireless sensor networks, the IoT, networking, data science and artificial intelligence.
Prof.-Dr. Marco Rivera received an Electronic Civil Engineering degree and an M.Sc. degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Electrical Engineering, from the Universidad de Concepción. Later, he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, and was awarded the “Premio Tesis de Doctorado Academia Chilena de Ciencias 2012” for the best PhD thesis developed in 2011 for national and foreign students in any exact or natural sciences program who are members of the Academia Chilena de Ciencias, Chile. Throughout the last few years, he has been a visiting professor at several international universities.
He is the Director of the Laboratory of Energy Conversion and Power Electronics (Laboratorio de Conversión de Energías y Electrónica de Potencia, LCEEP) at the Universidad de Talca, Chile. He was a full professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Universidad de Talca. In April 2023, he joined the Power Electronics, Machines and Control (PEMC) Research Institute of the University of Nottingham as a professor. His main research areas are power electronics, renewable energies, the advanced control of power converters, and microgrids, among others. He has published more than 520 academic publications in leading international conferences and journals.
