Dr. Carine W. Maurer received her M.D. from the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and her Ph.D. from Rockefeller University. She completed a preliminary internship year in Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center from 2009 to 2010, then served as a Neurology Resident at UCLA from 2010 to 2013. She then completed a fellowship in movement disorders at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Currently, she is a clinical assistant professor at Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
