Florbela dos Santos Gonçalves graduated in
Medicine from the University of Coimbra in 1997. She is a Graduate Hospital
Assistant in Internal Medicine and works in the Palliative Care Service of the
Portuguese Institute of Oncology in Coimbra, and is also qualified in
Palliative Care by the Portuguese Medical Association. Her research topics mainly
include: Palliative Care, Quality of Life, Symptoms, Cancer, Attachment Style
and Burnout.
