Dr. Abdessamed Derdour is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Water and Soil team at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory for Mechanical and Civil Structures and Soil at the University Center of Naama, Algeria. He completed his BEng studies in Hydrogeology at the University of Tlemcen (2006), MSc studies in Water Resources at the University of Tlemcen (2010), PhD studies in Hydrogeology in 2018, and received his Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR) in 2021 from the University of Oran 2. His research interests include Earth and Environmental Sciences, Flood and Drought, Water Quality, Water Resources Management, Hydraulic/Hydrological Modeling, and Flood Modelling Analysis
