Dr. Ian Krantz is Division Chief of Pediatric Genetics and Genomics at Cohen Children's Medical Center (CCMC) and SVP of Pediatric Genetics across Northwell Health and Professor of Pediatrics at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University. He was formerly an attending physician and Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Genetics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as the Director of the Roberts
Individualized Medical Genetics Center, Director of the Center for Cornelia de Lange Syndrome and Related Diagnoses, and the Genetics Residency/Fellowship Director. He
received his BFA (Fine Arts) from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada in
1984 and his M.D. from Tel Aviv University, Israel in 1991. He undertook pediatric residency training at New York University, New York, NY and Medical Genetics Residency Training at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA
