Prof. Dr. Jiaming Liu is a researcher at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He holds a PhD in Tourism Development and Management (1999) from Peking University and did a postdoc in Tourism Economics at Nankai University. He spent about three months as a visiting scholar in 2006 at the University of Queensland, Australia. His research focuses on holiday tourism, urban tourism, ecotourism, tourism development & management, and tourism planning and design. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
